The Bulibasha (King) of the Romanian Gypsy Community died last week.
Sounds to me like some of your wishes on gypsies were granted.

those you say are Romanian gypsies … and in fact they are only gypsies … you will never see this kind of opulence and bad taste at a pure Romanian … that’s a fact that all of us (true Romanians) know. One of the big Gypsy guys from Romania is gone. Romanians will never do the same with their dead instead. They believe that Earth gave us life, therefore we should go back to our roots and melt with mother-Earth. We should feed the soil and that’s what the Holy Bible says:’From Earth we’ve been given life, shall we go back to it’. Although Gypsies have a bad image in Romania and not only, I offer my sympathy for the man that passed away.GOD BLESS you! I am among the purest ROMANIANS.

It is facinating to see how differently we all put our loved ones to rest, yet many communalities still exist among us.
