I am sorry, I just think that Gypsies are arrogant and Ethnocentric, period. A Gypsy friend tells me that Gypsies were created before Adam and Eve and that they are better than the “Gadje” (That’s everyone who isn’t a Gypsy). They believe that they are a separate race of humans from the rest of us! If this were true, they would not be able to have children with non-Gypsies, but they can. They also teach that some Gypsy boy did Jesus a favor once, so God lets them steal. Ugh. Its also ok for a Gypsy man to defile a non-Gypsy woman who is not married, but its a terrible thing to do so do a Gypsy woman. They act like non-Gypsies are subhuman. I think ethnocentricity is disgusting and I am tired of how people go on and on about how “persecuted” Gypsies are when in fact, they persecute everyone who is not “Romany”.
