[…]A car accident from wich he got away unharmed. The crash with the truck on the other hand, damaged the luxurious limousine of Steaua team owner. Before sending his car to repairs in Germany, mr. Gigi Becali did minor fixes to it in his own back yard. The following images are not for the eyes of car lovers.
BMW-Sauber driver Robert Kubica has a broken leg after the huge accident from today’s Canadian Grand Prix race. The manager Daniele Morelli said Kubica was conscious and in good spirits.
"I talked to him…my impression is that he’s fine. He was giving indications to the doctors about his general state," he told Britain’s ITV television. "I saw him well. He talked to me almost normally, so that’s a good sign."
Kubica, 22, made contact with a Toyota on the approach to the hairpin on lap 27 and his car took off, flying through the air and slamming into a concrete wall at high speed before barrel-rolling across the track.

Amazing! This animal can imitate the call of at least 20 different bird species but that’s nothing compared to the fact that it can mime the sound made by photo camera shutters, car alarms or even saws and chainsaws. The Superb Lyrebird (Menura Novaehollandiae) is a pheasant-sized songbird, up to 100 cm long, with brown upper body plumage, grayish brown below, rounded wings and strong legs. It is the longest and third heaviest of all songbirds. |
